After graduating from Complutense University of Madrid with a B.Sc. in Physics, I decided to discover the researcher life and joined the M.Res. in Experimental Sciences from the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology - Pompeu Fabra University. The next steps, however, were not as expected.
Once accepted that the laboratory was not meant for me, an excercise of sincerity with myself enabled me to understand that public service, management, negotiation and diplomacy need to play a key role in my day to day work duties. Excercising them makes me feel fulfilled, as my role as President of the Students' Group of the Spanish Royal Physics Society showed me (see Volunteering section); a project that I cofounded in 2017 and on behalf of which I have been awarded the Honorific Mention in Science and Technology in Spain's National Youth Awards 2022.
Nowadays, after re-inventing myself with a M.Sc. in Innovation Economics and Management @ UAM-UCM-UPM, I am giving my first professional steps within the innovation team of one of Europe's biggest scientific initiatives: the Human Brain Project. Feel free to reach out if you are also passionate about innovation and European affairs!
